Welcome to the 3-2-1 Challenge 2010!

The challenge for 'AVers' was to make a short sequence with a maximum duration of 3 minutes 21 seconds, hence the title of the competition. The UK stage was held in the Memorial Hall, Aldbourne on Sunday 27th June 2010.

For the 2010 event, the entries were judged at various locations around the world, with stages in France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, The Netherlands, South Africa, Canada, Chile, Argentina, Australia, Mauritius, Germany, Poland, Oman, Portugal and of course here in Aldbourne! Equally challenging is the fact that your sequence will be marked by judges whose native language is not necessarily the same as your own!

This year we have changed the format for the UK event in that the entries were pre-judged before the public show on Sunday 27th June. This will avoid the over-run we had last year, and allow time for comments from the judges as well as less ‘down-time’ for the audience.

We showed 60 sequences at Aldbourne, and the full results can be here. In addition, we also held an 'unofficial' audience vote on the day, and the results of this can be seen here. The results from each event have been collated by GAPHE, and the final positions can been seen by clicking the relevant buttons on the left.

The competition is organised by GAPHE, a photographic group based in Hayenge in France, and this is the competition's fifth year. GAPHE have produced a 3-2-1 website, but as a lot of the detail is in French this 'local UK' version should make it easier to get the key information.

The 3-2-1 Challenge is an excellent chance to get your sequence viewed at venues all over the world!
